Zenzi Williams

Zenzi Williams is a New York based actor she received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama, has a BA in theater from Temple University and studied at British American Dramatic Academy. Her first introduction to Alexander Technique was in graduate school under Jessica Wolf, where she learned how to use AT in performance. Through Jessica’s mentorship she decided to join the teacher trainee program at Balance Arts Center with Ann Rodiger. She is committed to making sure that people of color know that they belong in the Alexander Technique, that this practice is for our bodies too. She is currently doing research to better understand how oppression and colonization affects the body and how she can guide her students into better use with this knowledge.
