Eric Liu (he/him) is a movement educator, Pilates teacher, and former professional dancer originally from Taiwan and currently based in New York City.

 Eric began his career in classical ballet and contemporary dance, performing with institutions such as the Joffrey Ballet School and Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Academy, as well as in international productions across Iceland, Israel, and Hong Kong. His repertoire includes roles in Romeo and JulietteThe NutcrackerRaymondaNapoli and Merce Cunningham’s Interscape

He was named a Fulbright Dance Artist in 2016–2017 and received the Wanderer’s Project Award through Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan. While continuing his dance career, Eric began teaching Pilates and has since developed a teaching practice grounded in anatomical precision, somatic awareness, and sustainable movement. He holds a Classical Pilates certification and teaches in both English and Mandarin.

 Eric views movement as both art and inquiry. He is currently expanding his work through studies in business and wellness, with the goal of creating more accessible and sustainable pathways to holistic health.
